Touched By Grace at the Shows
We love to go to Goat Shows! We love the chance to learn from judges and fellow breeders. It's a great time to meet the public, learn, make friends and ribbons are always a nice bonus!

2009 saw us at our first shows. What a blast! We learned so much! A great judge takes the time to educate the public and the breeders about such things as conformation, and production. A great judge also helps everyone who takes the time and puts in the effort to feel good about the animals they are showcasing. We aren't so concerned about placing as we are about learning about our animals. What a great compliment we received when our first homebred doeling placed substaintally higher than her dam in placings! This pair often win Dam and Daughter classes. We have shown at the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair a few times now and always enjoy meeting everyone.
2010 also saw us competing at the Markham Fall Fair and the Dundalk Fall Fair. Our animals did quite well at these shows. We like to set up a display about goats and our farm so look for us at shows and introduce youself to us. We'd love to talk goat and to meet you!

Congratulations to all our fellow Goat Breeders who did well at the shows this past season! Looking forward to seeing everyone at this year's events!

2011 Show Season is proving to be profitable and fun!  We have shown at local fairs in Drayton and Dundalk, the Markham Fall Fair on Oct 2. We are very happy with how well our goats did at each show.
Our dynamic duo, Sugarfield Gracie and her daughter Touched By Grace Victoria continue to excel in the Dam and Daughter classes, winning each time.
We are so very proud of our small Nubian herd and their many accomplishments! Now registered, we hope to compete at Sanctioned shows with them. Thanks Fred and Lynn for the great goats!

Meet our first home bred baby. This is Touched By Grace Victoria. She inherited her dam's feminine traits and her sire's length and larger bones. Victoria won a Dairy Goat Championship in 2010! She was judged with other dry does and did well. After all, does all need the same features: length of body, well sprung ribs, nice udder, good feet and pasterns. Victoria has placed well at Boer Goat shows as well. Her soft feminine looks always catch the judge's eye!
Dairy Goat Champion?!
Victoria's dam, Sugarfield Gracie also won a Dry Dairy Goat Championship. As you can see she is very feminine. She always gives us nice babies.
UPDATE: TBG Victoria presented us with a gorgeous doeling on St. Patrick's Day! TBG Paddy excelled at her first show and received glowing compliments from the Judge!
Victoria continues to place at the head of her classes at local fairs, winning another 2 Championships!

Be sure to support your local Fall Fair by entering the large variety of competitions and by visiting the Fairs!
