We are excited about our new adventure!
We are Glenn and Susan Phillips, a couple who raised five awesome children and are excited to have achieved a life long dream! We have always wanted a farm and realized that dream on June 2, 2008! It was a long and sometimes frustrating road but with hard work, perserverence and a whole lot of prayer, our dream came true!
We both have worked in the service industry and are experienced in providing exceptional customer service.
We are blessed to have the assistance of very knowlegable goat breeders who help us learn and grow as goat breeders. We relied on their expertise when selecting our foundation herd in order to ensure we could provide a strong and healthy animal.
In the years leading up to purchasing our farm, we researched many different possibilities. We decided to raise goats because we found there is a great demand for quality breeding stock and for goat meat itself. 60% of red meat consumed in North America is goat meat! 75% of the meat is imported. We believe in buying locally and hope to correct the current situation.
That and goats are just so cool. We love our goats.
We also stumbled upon a sideline of raising free-range chickens, and turkeys. We have limited numbers of both for sale, as well as fresh brown eggs!
