Welcome to Touched By Grace Farms
Year four arrives in June! So many lessons have been learned and we thank our Goat Coaches for their guidance, encouragement and patience!
We are developing our own look, focusing on maintaining beautiful, feminine does and well muscled bucks. We know each goat as an individual because we are able to spend time with each and every one. This makes it hard to say goodbye when we sell them, but we wouldn't do it any other way.
While our "game plan" continues to evolve, one thing remains: quality. Whatever the animal, breed, or product, we strive to produce our best for you.
Diversity seems to be the secret to a successful small farm operation and so we continue to produce mouth watering free range poultry and eggs. You have not tasted fresh until you have tried our products.
2012 has started off as a challenge! I (Susan) fell on ice and broke my ankle on Feb 18. Thanks to our son Ian, who stayed for the week to help out. Glenn has been managing the whole farm on his own as well as working his day job and taking care of me. Ten weeks later and I hope to get the okay to start walking and regaining mobility soon.
Lol thanks to the ER staff at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, and our Family Physicians for once again providing excellent care for me. Honestly, I don't try to be a klutz.
Our daughter was in a car accident after completing her shift as an Auxillary Police Officer with Hanover Police Services. Eleven hours after I broke my leg and she separated her shoulder! Thanks to the OPP and Wiarton ER Staff for the care they provided her!
We are so thankful to God that was the only injury as it was a bad crash. Poor Glenn had very little help while she recovered as well. What a pair!
We would like to acknlowledge our friend, Sandi, and a young friend, Sam, who helped us out by cleaning our goat pens and barn. Thanks to both of you!
We invite you to research the world of goats and to get involved as the demand far exceeds the supply!
The opportunities are limitless, so come join us in supplying an incredible demand for great Canadian Goats!
We love our community of West Grey, Ontario and would welcome you for a prearranged visit. We are small, but enthusiastic and willing to share what we have learned! Come explore the beautiful countryside that is Grey County. Fish and canoe on the Saugeen River, explore the quaint villages, hike, ski, the list is endless!
We are members of: Ontario Goat, and the Canadian Meat Goat Association, and the Canadian Goat Society.
Support you goat organizations as they do so much for you!
